Class or Seat Reservation Cancelation

A seat in a class may be canceled up to two weeks before the class takes place for a full refund of all fees and/or prepayments.  Within two weeks before the class, a refund will not be given; however up to the day of the class, the class may be rescheduled for another class anytime within the next 6 months, subject to the class schedule and availability of seats in each class. Any student who has already been transferred previously waives their right to a refund and will be subject to a rescheduling fee for each subsequent transfer, regardless of how far away the class is they are registered for. Failure to arrive at class without prior notification will result in the loss of all fees and rescheduling rights as the costs of conducting a class are not any less when a student no shows.

Privacy Notice

All information given to RMFT through its website, classes, e-mail, or phone will be kept confidential. Only basic contact information will be kept on file, as well as records required to be kept on file by state and federal laws regarding Concealed Firearms Permit Classes or other government regulated courses. An individual’s information will never be sold or given to a third party.

Payment for Classes and Services

Payment for all classes and/or services must be received before the completion of the class or service.

Rejected Applications

RMFT is not responsible for rejected applications for the Concealed Carry Permits or other course applications, regardless of the reason for the rejection.

Live Ammunition

For the safety of the students and the instructor, live ammunition is strictly prohibited from all RMFT classrooms. Live ammunition is allowed at the portions of classes held on or at shooting ranges; ammunition must be left in its box until the instructor or range safety officer instructs the participants of the class to remove it.  Any student not following the instructor or range safety officers’ directions may be removed without refund or reimbursements.

Class Cancelations

RMFT rarely cancels scheduled classes, but on occasion, classes have been canceled due to insufficient registrations or other reasons. RMFT may at its discretion cancel any class for any reason. Free class transfers will be given to students, with paid registrations, directly impacted by a class cancelation. In the event of a cancelation due to force majeure, such as but not limited to weather, a rapidly spreading virus, pandemic, or natural disaster, the class will be rescheduled, and free class transfers offered. Class refunds will not be given for class cancelations due to force majeure, such as but not limited to weather, a rapidly spreading virus, pandemic, or natural disaster.

Course Completion

Most courses end with some sort of certification or certificate of completion. Leaving a class early or failing to complete/pass required tests may preclude a student from receiving such certifications. These certifications may come in the form of an instructor’s signature on an application, instructor’s stamp on an application, a physical certificate, or a digital certification depending on the course taken and applicable laws. Failure to complete or pass a course does not entitle a student to a refund. If a student attends and passes a course but does not receive their certification, by their fault or otherwise, RMFT will make reasonable accommodations to make sure the student receives said certification. Such accommodations may require the student to meet an instructor in person or mail, at the student’s expense, their application to the appropriate instructor. Instructors will attempt to meet the student or mail back a completed certification in a reasonable time frame. Depending on the location of the students and instructor, mail may be the only way to complete such certification. If an application is submitted to attend another class or receive a permit, wherein such certification is required, and the application is rejected, RMFT shall not be held responsible for the student’s failure to obtain said certifications. RMFT shall not be held responsible for rejected applications, for any reason.

Processing Fees and Background Check Fees

Course fees paid to RMFT do not include processing fees or background check fees that may be required by government agencies before receiving certain licenses, permits, or certifications. RMFT courses fees only cover the course and other associated services but do not include any fee required by state or federal governments for prepossessing or background checks, all of those fees can be paid directly by the applicant to the appropriate Agency, Bureau, Etc. It is the applicant’s responsibility to make sure that any such fees are paid in the appropriate time frame as to not delay or cause a denial of their application.
